Hardcover 427 Pages

Every motorcycle enthusiast should see this book regardless of whether
they buy it or not. The machines on display inside are absolutely gorgeous and the grahic is superb. Although I have been a student of motorcycling
for many years, some of the bikes featured were unkown to me.

I particulary enjoyed the section on French Motorcycles due to the rare
and unusual status. This is a HEAVY "Coffee Table" style book that seems
a touch uncomfortable on your lap. Of course, I had to have my very own copy if only to examine the pictures again and again.(A Gift From My Wife)

ABOUT THE BOOK

From The Publisher
Motor Trend's parent company, Petersen Publishing, together with MBI Publishing Company, are pleased to present this handsome, year-by-year retrospective of the magazine whose annual "Car of the Year Award" is one of the most prestigious honors bestowed in the auto industry. Beginning in 1949, when the first issue of Motor Trend rolled off the presses, 50 Years of Motor Trend offers an introductory text for each chapter which then segues into a huge collection of Motor Trend photo highlights, information-filled captions, and sidebars recalling significant events from that year in automobiles. The result is a highly nostalgic and thoroughly informative look back at a half century of automotive milestones and publishing excellence celebrating great cars, both import and domestic.
