Are you wondering if your steering wheel is about to come off in your hands?


Is your column loose and wobbly?


Well fear not, this tool kit is designed to help you out.
Many 80's GM vehicles have this problem which gradually gets worse and worse.

This is a Kit for repairing tilt-wheel columns.


This is not an easy repair and some will replace the whole steering column instead.

The steering wheel must be pulled using an appropriate puller,
U-bracket used to depress spring and  circlip removed,
T-Handle wrench used to detension spring that moves column up and down,
PULLER used to remove pivot pins (troublesome).


After disassembly, 4 screws around joint are re-tightened (locktite optional).

 Everything reassembled
and now solid as a rock.

This is not an easy repair and requires patience & finesse
on your part.
